Services
The Children's Clinic, "Serving Children and Their Families," provides care for the most underserved children, youth, and adults in the community. To be eligible for services, a child or adult must be uninsured, underinsured, or receive Medi-Cal, Healthy Families, Healthy Kids or Medicare. Families may be asked to contribute to their care according to a sliding fee scale, yet no one is refused care due to the inability to pay.
TCC's numerous services include:
- Preventive, acute and ongoing health care to children, teens and adults
- Chronic disease management
- Community outreach and health education
- Immunizations
- Laboratory testing
- Prescribed medications
- Linkage to community resources
- Social services
- Evening and Saturday hours.
TCC continues to serve as a true medical home with 24-hour telephone accessibility. In 2010, TCC provided:
- 70,942 Health Care Visits to over 23,443 children and adults
- Lion’s Eye Clinic - provided almost 1,300 comprehensive ophthalmologic visits.
- Almost 46,700 medications through our dispensaries
- Over 33,800 immunizations and a Walk-In Immunization Clinic
