Funded by First 5 LA, TCC is one of the many partners of the Choose Health LA Kids Early Childhood Obesity Prevention Initiative, a four year program dedicated to bringing together partnering organizations to implement community-based public education, skills-building, and environmental changes that promote physical activity and healthy eating. Choose Health LA Kids is a grant that specifically targets the nearly one million LA County children (0-5 years of age) and their families and aims to reduce the prevalence of overweight and obesity among young children and their families.
